radaRx allows workers to easily notify their supervisors and colleagues of their unplanned absence, reasons for absence including symptoms if the absence is illness-related. Communication is instantaneous via push notification and email. Supervisors can quickly find replacements by using the SmartFinder feature of the app. SmartFinder suggests employees by matching the skill and proficiency levels of the absent employee. radaRx also provides forecasts of future absences so that managers can plan their staffing in advance. radaRx also provides the risk of contracting an infectious illness at the work location or at the local community level such as town or county. Current public data provides the incidence of such illnesses only at the county or state level. Managers can use this information to implement policies to provide a safe work environment.
